Custom Pokemon Playmat

plamatAlright, I was told I should post some Pokemon art :)

This is a custom-drawn card playmat I did for my friend, Connie. It’s Sharpie and Copic marker on material like they make mousepads out of. About 12″x18″

Ski Sloth

Ski Sloth

Christmas present for Ms. Jackie Just, girlfriend of one of my brothers-in-law. I’m getting to know her, but so far I know she lived in Costa Rica for a year, where they had to move sloths off of the trails. Also she likes skiing. Also sloths are adorable.

Watercolor. About 6″x8″

Lady Hamilton as Jamie

This is what I’ve been working on for Painting 1.

The assignment was to recreate a masterwork, allowing for some changes as we wished. I picked George Romney’s Lady Hamilton as Circe, and made her my kind of awesome.

Brookesia Micra

Have you heard about these tiny chameleons from Madagascar yet? No? I’ll wait here while you google it. Ok? You’ve seen them now? SQUEEEEE!

They’re so tiny it’s ridiculous. I know chameleons don’t actually change color based on their background, and instead it’s based on mood, but I couldn’t resist anyway. Can you blame me?

Watercolor, artist trading card size (which is several times larger than the actual animal)
